eyebrow: Frequently asked
Before you call
The questions I get asked most. Whatever is still open here is open — no estimated answers.

q-1: Do I need an appointment, or can I just come in?
a-1: An appointment, please. There is one working position and one client per appointment, so I usually cannot fit someone in spontaneously. Do call though — sometimes it works at short notice.
q-2: How long does a balayage take?
a-2: Longer than a cut, and how much longer depends on hair length and starting colour. [TBD: confirm concrete durations per service — until then I will tell you on the phone.]
q-3: What does it cost?
a-3: Colour cannot be charged at a flat rate, because length, density and previous treatments decide the time and the amount of product. The prices page shows how it is structured; I give you the firm range before the appointment.
q-4: My hair is already coloured or lightened. Is that still possible?
a-4: Usually yes, but not always in one appointment. On heavily treated hair I first look at what it can still take, and split the lift over two appointments if needed. I say that beforehand, not halfway through.
q-5: Do I have to come for a consultation before a colour?
a-5: Not necessarily as a separate appointment — the consultation is part of the colour appointment. If you are unsure, or planning a bigger change, a short conversation first does help. Describe it on the phone and I will tell you whether that is enough.
q-6: Do you also do men's or children's cuts?
a-6: [TBD: confirm whether men's and children's cuts are offered.]
q-7: How can I pay?
a-7: [TBD: cash, TWINT, card — to be confirmed.]
q-8: Which products do you use?
a-8: [TBD: colour and care line to be confirmed. No brand is named here until then.]
q-9: What happens if I cannot make an appointment?
a-9: [TBD: cancellation and lateness policy. In a one-person studio a missed appointment is lost entirely, so how late a cancellation can still be belongs here.]
q-10: Which languages do you advise in?
a-10: German and English. [TBD: confirm further languages.]
